Definitely one of my better drawings lately. Compared to the sketches of a couple things I will never let you see. Not even you, Scott. They're that bad. Of course, I screwed Roy's arm up somehow or another...

There are SO MANY ways one could interpret this picture. Not all of them are right, though. Let me give you an example: a friend of mine thought that the person behind Marth in the background was his ancestor or something. Granted, she has never played Fire Emblem and has pretty much just listening to me blabber on about the series.

Anyway- you should see a couple friends and allies taking a walk and talking, but in the background is a clash between light and darkness, Marth and Gharnef from back in the time of the Shadow Dragon (as both Medeus and the time of the game itself). Are they speaking of this key point in Marth's history? Is it an explanation of Storm of Shadows itself, as in showing that though Marth has many allies, he also has bitter enemies? Or is it something deeper, something even our prince can't see coming? Who knows?
Well, I know. Duh. The rest of you just have guesses and theories.

It was certainly interesting drawing this. I was originally just planning on Marth and Roy talking, but suddenly it turned into this. A major plot in Storm of Shadows. I did both Marth and Gharnef from memory, but I do like how it came out. A young prince versus an old fart. A very old fart. Oh well.

Speaking of ages, I should probably point out that Marth is around 19 or 20 years old in Storm of Shadows, while Roy is about 16 or 17.
