KI: OWLD- Wings of Light

Even after two thousand years of being the god of light, Pit can't help but feel like he'll never live up to his predecessor. With his maturity and wisdom comes a deeper understanding of his own limitations, and somehow, the more power he gains, the weaker he feels. Or perhaps that's the fact that he has more to personally worry about- his brother, his partner, his daughter and son, and his friends and companions, all of whom look to him for guidance and protection. He realizes that his life is not his own, not his to spend. Though he would gladly give it for those he loves, he knows how hard it would be for them to continue on without him. He is a balance of life and death, of light and darkness. He is a guide and guardian, and he is a proud leader and defender of Skyworld. He is light in more ways than one.

Pit and Kuro have been my favorite characters to develop as the On the Wings of Light and Dark series has gone on, and Pit has been particularly interesting as he discovers more about his own insecurities and weaknesses, not to mention figuring out that maybe he hasn't been walking his own chosen path as much as he thought he would. Deep down, he's still Pit, but he's certainly matured, and having him basically answering to no one has helped tremendously in exploring his independence and thinking for himself and those around him. But no matter how much he goes through and what he learns, he'd probably still be lost without Kuro to ground him a bit. 

After I did my recent drawing of Kuro, I decided I wanted to continue with some of the other major [active] characters of the OWLD/AtBoT series to explore their characters and see how well I can represent them in a single drawing. So now that Pit is finished, I'll probably work on Lucina next.
